Libraries play an important role because they are the center of knowledge, an area where rea-
ding and analysis activities can be developed, but it faces a challenge, being a popular meeting
center and having this demand on the part of students and the public. in general, The Library of
the School of Public Accounting Campus IV, serves the entire university population of the Cam-
pus, receives visits from both the students of the Faculty of Accounting, as well as students
from other Faculties such as: Administration Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Human Medicine
and not counting other schools that are located near the facilities, which generates noise that
sometimes does not allow the concentration of students who are making use of the library. To
solve the demand for this service, the installation has virtual access to the different query units,
but there are still those who prefer to attend the facilities for consultations, team work, aca-
demic work, diverse activities with teachers or to carry out some administrative process. The
objective of the research was to develop an application with Arduino technology, to control the

noise that students make during their stay in the library. The methodology that was used for the
development of this prototype is: Arduino Cards, Embedded Systems, Leds, Noise Sensors,
Resistors, Current Eliminator. The result obtained was satisfactory because it was possible to
control the noise in the library that helped to improve the academic activities carried out by the
students and their concentration by reducing noise in the library. In conclusion, making use
of technology in the library space favored the learning and concentration of the students that
attend it as an area of study within the Faculty.
Key Words: Flash Memory, Atmega 328 Microcontroller, Noise Sensors, Embedded Systems,
