Abstract

                  This research focused on the implementation, evaluation and analysis of the transformation of
                  the practice to the teaching praxis in technological education, where the participating teachers
                  served as axes of social change in their educational contexts. Through a conceptual model that
                  implied a concrete existential analysis of the subject in its context (of pedagogical realities), ar-
                  ticulated by six dimensions: personal, institutional, interpersonal, social, didactic, valoral and its
                  pedagogical relation. The latter served as the conceptual and methodological basis of eight ac-
                  tivities in which they identified: the freedom of self-determination, the awareness and the eman-
                  cipation of the participating teachers from a holistic approach, with the support of Habermas’s
                  critical theory (1999) as the nucleus of the model, in which the possibility of reaching the con-
                  version of the participant’s educational reality in the knowledge society was supported. From
                  the action and reflection of their freedom of self-determination, the awareness to concretize
                  emancipation in their work as a teacher; The aim of the research is to analyze the feasibility of

                  transforming teaching practice into praxis through the aforementioned model and to know the
                  perception of students with respect to participating teachers, under a mixed research strategy.

                  Among the quantitative results, the following assumptions were obtained: students express
                  that teachers have poor performance in didactic-pedagogical issues, which limits their educa-
                  tional development; and for the qualitative part, the results obtained show the evidence that
                  the participating teachers reached their transformation and emancipation both in the aware-
                  ness and in the continuous accompaniment and epistemological surveillance. Therefore, it is

                  formation of the reality of the subject, through dialogical communication in six dimensions and
                  a pedagogical relationship directed towards the freedom of self-determination, the taking of
                  consciousness and emancipation.
