petitivo durante su inserción laboral.

ABStRAct
The objective of this research was to identify if the fact of graduating from an accredited educa-
tional program of the Accounting and Administration Faculty (FCA) of the Autonomous Univer-
sity of Baja California (UABC), Campus Tijuana, generates a positive impact in the professional
field, as well as to know if the results obtained in the General Exam for the Graduation of the
Degree in Accounting (EGEL-CONTA) are of importance during the hiring process.
To achieve this goal, a survey was applied electronically to a certain number of FCA graduates
from the period 2013-1 to 2017-2. It should be noted that said sample reached a confidence
level of 90% and an error of 10%. Among the results obtained, it is worth noting that 38% of the La investigación en instituciones de educación superior en México
respondents mentioned that graduating from an accredited program facilitates recruitment and
job placement. Regarding the results of the EGEL-CONTA, 30% of the graduates considered
that the entrepreneur is very confident about the score obtained by the candidate; while 37.7%
stated that said results have no relevance during the hiring process. It is concluded that, ac-
cording to the perception of the respondents, both graduate from an educational program with
accreditation and obtaining a Testimony of Satisfactory Performance or Outstanding Testimony
in the EGEL-CONTA give certainty to the employer on the knowledge and skills they have for
the realization of his profession the candidate to be hired, as well as the confidence of being
competitive during his job placement.
