EL ETAT DE LOS DERECHOS HUMANOS EN EL DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE

CONCLUSIONS

 Peace is established in our Political Constitution of 1991 as a value, a duty and a
right of citizens.

 As such, it is through peace that States consolidate their democracy and guarantee the

soundness of their institutions, an aspect according to UN ODS No. 16.

 Colombia, currently goes towards achieving peace, after a conflict of more than 50

years, which seeks to create an environment of security and tranquility in the State;
circumstance that allows it to enhance its development with greater investment,

better opportunities and reduction of poverty and inequality, as expressed in our

National Development Plan.
